Like always, our workshop will be very hands-on, and you’ll go home with planted seeds ready to sprout into seedlings. We will also cover a lot of the essentials of seed-starting vegetables, herbs and flowers. And if you want, we can discuss particular plants and varieties. We can even touch a bit on propagating a few herbs.

As your summer garden starts to slow down, please join two local Southern California homesteaders (Jes from Sensible Homestead, and Tara from Freedom Farms Vista) for an upcoming hands on class on Fall Seed Starting! Learn to start your own seedlings from seed and growing your own food!

  • Come get your hands dirty

  • Enjoy some fresh baked sourdough and jam

  • Take home some seeds from our large seed library!
